This is the house sparrow harness used by myself and countless trappers and banders for suspending a house sparrow from a lure pole.

This simple design allows you to quickly and easily attach a harness on a house sparrow. The harness lays on the sparrow's back with the small attachment hole towards the tail. The head goes through the large hole in the middle, the two "arms" of the harness go under each wing and all three attachment holes meet on the rump of the sparrow. A simple snap swivel goes through each hole to hold the harness on and the snap swivel should be attached to your lure line.

(I highly advise having several of these when trapping, a sparrow WILL eventually slip out of your hand and fly off with it on)
